Growing up having a father whose favorite band to be is Motörhead, I've come across the song Ace of Spades more times than I can count. Creating this piece made me think of that song. I wanted to color it black but did not know if I dared to. After days of flickering back and forth I decided to do it. Looking at the finished piece I knew right away what to call her. Since it was a she the name was destined to be Queen of Spades.
